Aldi's' $20 hot cross bun gin sends shopper's wild: 'Need this'
Aldi has proved Easter isn’t just about chocolate, by releasing a hot cross bun flavoured gin.
The budget shop has sent shoppers into a flurry of excitement online over the $20 concoction, which features spicy gin infused with nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and ginger.
“Crafted with the traditional spices found in your favourite Easter treat, simply mix with soda, sparkling wine or serve on the rocks,” Nicole Higgins, ALDI Australia Shopping Expert said.

People online were eager to get their hands on the liquor, with one writing: “Seriously does it get any better?”
“Need this,” another person wrote, with another saying: “Can there be anything more appropriate for Easter? “
Others weren’t so sure about the unique flavour combination, with one person simply stating: “Not for me”.
“That's a HARD pass from me,” another said.
While the gin isn’t in stores yet, it’s set to arrive in plenty of time before Easter.
