There’s a new must-have air fryer snack being sold at Aldi and it's quickly flying off shelves.
Aldi’s new Mac & Cheese Crispbakes are the must-try snack shoppers are raving about and they’re proving to be just as popular as the supermarket's $4 mini doughnuts.
One shopper recently shared she'd found the crispy snack in store and asked who had tried it on Facebook.
Her question on the Aldi Mums Australia Facebook page set off a flurry of comments from Aldi fans who said they couldn’t get enough of the new tasty treat.
“Saw these on the shelf in Aldi Australia. New item. Has anyone tried these? Air fryer vs oven?” She asked.
Other shoppers excitedly said they’d already tried them saying they were just as good as they looked.
“These are next level Amazing yum,” one shopper said.
“They are sooo good!! Highly recommend,” added another.

“Yes!! I got some for the first time this week and cooked them in the oven. I absolutely love them!”
The $4 crispy snack comes in a pack of two and can be found in the chilled section near the deli meats. But not all Aldi stores stock them.
“Ours doesn’t have them. I asked about them. I was told not all stores have them,” one shopper said.
Oven vs air fryer
Those who have been lucky enough to get their hands on them have already weighed in on whether they were better cooked in the oven - as directed on the packet - or in the air fryer.
“We’ve done them in both the air fryer and the oven and they were better in the air fryer but not by much,” one person said.
“I liked them! I did it in the air fryer for 18min I think? My partner didn't like his, so I had two,” another woman said.
“I cooked mine in the oven and made my mac and cheese sauce and poured over the top. Gave a lot more flavour and everyone loved them,” added a third.
“These are so good in the air fryer!” Another person shared.
Looks like these are a must-buy for anyone who loves whipping up tasty snacks in the air fryer.
