'Alaskan Bush People' Bear Brown Shares New Photo of Mom Ami After Medical Emergency
After marking his son River's fifth birthday with a series of sweet pics last week, Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown shared another photo of his family celebrating the special occasion, this time including his mom, Ami Brown.
In the snap, posted on Wednesday, March 19, Bear posed with River in his arms alongside his wife Raiven Brown, Ami, and brother Bam Brown. Bam and River both flashed the "thumbs up" sign at the camera. Ami looked happy and healthy, wearing a red dress with a print, her white hair hanging in loose waves.
"Bam came over for River birthday, and we took this awesome picture! #alaskanbushpeople #bearthekingofextreme #fyp #family #homestead #nextgeneration," Bear captioned the post.

Bear's followers were thrilled to see the family spending time together.

"Beautiful picture thank you for sharing Bear 🥰🥰🥰," a second fan commented.
"Happy birthday River. Great picture ❤️," another person raved," with someone else adding, "So glad to see Bam with his family celebrating your son’s birthday. 🎂 what a blessing! 🥳 Happy Birthday 🎂 River 🎉."
Fans have been concerned about 61-year-old Ami in recent weeks, as she was hospitalized in mid-February over breathing issues caused by a severe case of pneumonia. Ami is already a lung cancer survivor.
Bear, 37, took to Instagram earlier this month to update fans on his mother's condition, announcing in a video that Ami is "doing much better."
"She is getting strong and better every day," Bear said in the clip, adding that Ami was in "high spirits" since her release from the hospital.
"She's doing really, really well," Bear continued. "Her breathing is doing really good her heart and blood pressure' is all doing good."
