The Addams Family has stood the test of time as a pop culture and Halloween phenomenon for generations. The Addams Family first started as a comic in the New Yorker in 1938 before it was first adapted into a TV show in the early 1960s.

Since then, the series has inspired live-action and animated film adaptations, a musical and the popular TV spinoff Wednesday on Netflix, starring Jenna Ortega.

The mysterious and quirky family has also become go-to Halloween costumes, but which character most aligns with your zodiac sign?

Read on to find out which Addams Family character you are based on your zodiac sign, according to astrologer Lisa Stardust.

Aries: Grandmama

Stardust says that Grandmama's "sassy attitude, fearless vibe and vivacious personality" closely resembles the Fire sign’s "bold demeanor."

Taurus: Gomez Addams

While Gomez Addams serves as the head of the family, Stardust explains that as a Taurus, he is "the sensual and indulgent husband" who "often finds solace in the arms of his wife." Gomez appreciates the finer things in life and is "decadent and over the top," like the Earth sign.

Gemini: Pubert Addams

Stardust explains that Pubert Addams "isn’t who he first seems" in the Addams Family. While his "dualistic and duplicitous nature makes him a Gemini," his "real 'Addams side' emerges" and helps "him to find his true self."

Cancer: Pugsley Addams

Pugsley Addams is best known as the sensitive member of the Addams family who is often protected by his sister Wednesday Addams. As "the family-oriented Addams" family member, Stardust says Pugsley Addams closely relates to the personality traits of a Cancer.

Leo: Debbie Jellinsky

Much like Leos, antagonist Debbie Jellinsky stands out from the rest of the Addams Family, opting for pastels and lighter colors in contrast to the dark tones the family gravitates to. Stardust says despite Debbie's intentions in the film, she just "yearns to be loved and seen," a typical trait of Leos.

Virgo: Thing

Like a methodical Virgo, Thing keeps things very mindful and demure in The Addams Family. Stardust explains that Thing "has a mind of its own and helps the Addams family find meaning and clarity in matters through its investigative means."

Libra: Morticia Addams

Morticia Addams is very partnership-oriented and has an airy intellect — just like charming Libra. Stardust says she "is devoted to her husband, Gomez, and inspires him with words of wisdom."

Scorpio: Wednesday Addams

In The Addams Family, Wednesday Addams' birthday falls on Oct. 13, but Stardust insists she "is a Scorpio to the core." Stardust adds that "her transformative nature and love of the macabre align her with Scorpio's edgy persona."

Sagittarius: Margaret Alford

When she first shows up in The Addams Family, Margaret Alford is not very polite and open-minded. However, when she leaves her husband and falls into the arms of  Cousin Itt, Stardust says "Margaret becomes an adventurous and optimistic Sagittarius." 

Capricorn: Lurch

Just like hard-working Capricorns — who are known for their "strong efforts in their careers" — Stardust says that "Lurch has an extremely good work ethic" and "makes it all look so easy."

Aquarius: Cousin Itt

Like an independent-minded Aquarius, Stardust says "Cousin Itt is a unique individual who speaks its own language and matches to the beat of their own drum." Cousin Itt's powers "veer from the norm and "enhances Cousin Itt’s charm," Stardust adds.

Pisces: Fester Addams

Fester Addams is "the ultimate romantic," just like a Pisces. Stardust explains that Fester "lives through his feelings and follows his heart at all times, which is very much aligned with the Water sign."
