Abbie Chatfield hits back after follower 'body shames' her: 'WTF'

Former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield has hit out at a follower who shared a backhanded compliment on a post about her swimwear.

The 26-year-old shared a series of snaps from a trip to the beach on Sunday with boyfriend Konrad Bien-Stephens and friend Kathleen Ebbs, with the follower writing, "[You're] so pretty, but bad choice of bathers."

Abbie was quick to respond with a rant on her Instagram Stories, saying she liked the way her bikini looked on her.

"'You're so pretty, but bad choice of bathers...' Babe, it's a f**king black bikini. Sorry that I have E-cup f**king t*ts," she said in a video.

"And maybe I want them to be half-out. Maybe I enjoy them being half-out. Maybe I'll make my boyfriend hard at the beach," Abbie joked.

"Like, it's actually an excellent choice of bathers. I look hot as f**k."

Abbie shared more comments by the follower who responded, "I'm allowed an opinion. The bottoms are terrible."

The reality star responded, "You're not allowed an opinion about my appearance though. What the f**k are you talking about?"

"Can't I be honest?" the follower questioned, with Abbie hitting back, "No????? Keep it to yourself?"

She added, "Public figures don't need your opinions or 'honesty'. I don't know you. I don't give a s**t if you don't like my bikini bottoms."

Abbie later discovered that the woman who body shamed her is studying psychology, "Imagine finding out your psychologist body shames people on the internet."

Meanwhile, last month, the reality star was praised for sharing a relatable detail in a bikini snap from Monday Swimwear's Yacht Day.

Abbie shared her chosen Monday Swimwear look along with the caption: "Category is: Shaving rash".

She also added in the comments: "PSA: the new trend is shaving rash!!"

The lilac coloured bikini, and her fresh hair received plenty of praise from her followers, but it was her inclusion of "some normality" that had people cheering.

"Showing us the real female body," one person commented.

"It’s nice to see some normality in a photo," another wrote.

"Normalise the rash," was another comment, with one person calling the shaving rash "iconic".

"Finally I’m on trend with something," one person joked.
