“90 Day”: Jasmine Claims It's Been 8 Months Since She Slept with Gino and Fears They're Going 'Down the Drain'
"I truly love him, but there is no way on earth I am going to stay in a marriage that is sexless," Jasmine admitted on the season 2 premiere of '90 Day: The Last Resort'
Gino and Jasmine’s relationship is on the rocks — but they're hoping to work through their issues with the help of some couple’s therapy.
On the season 2 premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: Last Resort on Dec. 2, Jasmine revealed it had been eight months since she and Gino shared a bed together. Apparently, not much has been going well for the couple since Jasmine left Panama to live with Gino in Michigan.
“Once I came here, it feels like even though we love each other, we hate each other at the same time,” Jasmine admitted in one of her first confessionals of the season.
Then, the 37-year-old dropped a bombshell. “Coming to this retreat, I can say that we are pretty close to getting divorced.”
In his own confessional, Gino said his relationship with Jasmine was “pretty easy” when they dated long distance, but admitted being together all the time has taken its toll on them.
Now, the 55-year-old felt like he and Jasmine were “stuck” in a cycle of having big highs, followed by big lows.
Jasmine was tired of the negative energy, as well. She even suggested Gino could sleep outside as they scoped out the scenery.
“You could sleep here,” Jasmine said as they stepped outdoors. Gino played along, quipping, “I could, couldn’t I?”
But even the threat of venomous bugs and snakes wasn’t enough to change Jasmine’s mind: “Yeah, you should have to sleep outside.”
In a confessional, Jasmine wondered how she and Gino reached this point in their relationship. But she said one thing is certain: “We cannot continue sleeping in separate bedrooms, not having intimacy.”
“I truly love him, but there is no way on earth I am going to stay in a marriage that is sexless,” she admitted. “I’m not going to keep up with this.”
Later that day, at therapy, Jasmine claimed the happy moments she once shared with Gino now make her “sad.”
“He's becoming like a stranger to me when it comes to being my husband,” Jasmine told the group. “I think to myself, like, how we went down the drain.”
Gino also chimed in, noting that their relationship had been “rapidly declining” since the day they wed. “The biggest reason is because we basically fight every day,” he explained.
The 55-year-old also expressed concern about Jasmine going out overnight without informing him where she was going or staying.
“Jasmine will go out and just spend the night at somewhere, and I didn't really know where it was at and she wouldn’t tell me until the next morning,” Gino revealed.
Her excuse, Gino alleged, was that she stayed at a friend's house. But Gino was still not pleased with her response.
“That’s not good,” Gino told the group. “I mean, I don't think that's acceptable in the marriage.”
Jasmine admitted to leaving the house for three days without telling Gino where she went. But she blamed him for failing to show her any sort of affection.
“He was the person I wanted to spend the most time with, and now I'm like, I need a break from this human,” Jasmine said. “I cannot deal with him for one more minute without driving me nuts.”
