The conversation came up when the celebrities were discussing Twitter trolling, with Frankie sharing that he "used to" hit back at offensive comments made about him on social media.

"This kid wrote, 'I’m sorry but your acting is just awful.' And I was in a movie, and I went, 'Yeah it is, but you know what’s not awful? Being retired at 19 with $40 million. Good luck moving out of your mum’s house before you’re 35,'" he quipped.

"His Twitter name was ‘I heart Mountain Dew’. Like, OK."

He told producers that while he doesn't usually respond to hateful messages, sometimes he has to.

"Every once in a while you have to punch back you can only take so many punches before you get knocked out," the star said. "Take a swing back, I’m a human too. If you can dish it, you need to be able to take it."

Frankie now works as a race car driver and lives in Arizona with his wife and their two-year-old son.

Brittany Hockley asked Frankie whether he had made enough money from Malcolm in the Middle to never have to work, with the star responding, "Oh, 100 per cent."

"But I’m neurotically motivated. I’ve just always worked since I was eight years old. I don’t know how to just be in the moment and not be focused on what I’m doing next."

While working on the show, Frankie made around $US150,000 per episode. He also appeared in movies such as Agent Cody Banks, Big Fat Liar and My Dog Skip.

Frankie has continued to act over the years, with his IMDb page revealing he has four upcoming projects.

The star also made the heartbreaking admission that he has "no friends" and doesn't know why.

He explained that while he knows a lot of people, he doesn't have a deeper connection with them.

Frankie added that his wife would like for him not to work and spend time with their son, but he still has a few years left where he can be a race car driver and then he'll consider slowing down.

"If I left today, I'd go home with such a different attitude," he told his fellow celebs after admitting he wants more time with his family.
