Yahoo Lifestyle Zoe Saldaña Gets Structural in Maison Margiela for the 2025 London Critics’ Circle Film Awards
Zoe Saldaña opted for an avant-garde interpretation of structural dressing at the 2025 London Critics’ Circle Film Awards on Sunday. The Oscar-nominated actress accepted the award for Supporting Actress of the Year for her work in “Emilia Pérez.”
For the occasion, Saldaña opted for a selection from Maison Margiela’s Artisanal couture fall 2022 collection. The strapless dress featured a sweetheart neckline with a structured bodice featuring crinkled black fabric with a glossy effect.

The dress included a high-waist, cinched silhouette, adding a touch of definition to the look. Saldaña’s dress transitioned into a structured skirt, with elements of slightly gathered fabric. The skirt transitioned from a patterned print into embellishments of black fabric dangling from the skirt and hemline.
Saldaña added a pair of strappy, close-toed black heels to complete the look. As for her accessories, the actress wore pieces of jewelry courtesy of Marli. The actress wore a pair of glittering earrings and a few delicate rings.
Saldaña’s hair was styled in a messy updo, featuring a few strands of hair to frame her face courtesy of hairstylist Aviva Jansen Perea. Her makeup featured bold brows, a smokey eye and a glossy lip by artist Vera Steimberg. Saldaña’s look was curated by stylist Petra Flannery, who recently worked with Reese Witherspoon and Renée Zellweger.
Over the last several months, during her promotional tour for “Emilia Pérez,” Saldaña has worked consistently with Flannery on her looks, often wearing pieces courtesy of Saint Laurent. The aforementioned French luxury fashion house has a unique relationship with “Emilia Pérez,” with costumes for the film originating in creative director Anthony Vaccarello’s archives.
Saldaña recently earned her first Oscar nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in the film. The actress previously won the Golden Globe award in the same category and received BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild and Critics Choice Award nominations for her work in “Emilia Pérez” as well. The film, which received 13 Oscar nominations, is available to stream on Netflix.
