Zendaya's Dramatic Puffy Emerald Green Dress Looked Just Like a Giant Bubble

Just hours earlier, she stepped out in a completely sheer maxi skirt.

Sartorial queen Zendaya is back on the press circuit with two fresh-off-the-runway looks, thanks to her longtime stylist Law Roach. As she made an appearance for the “For Your Consideration” screening of her film Dune: Part Two. The Challengers actress turned heads on Saturday, September 21 with her all-day fashion parade, which included a riff on one of the most divisive Y2K trends as well as a completely transparent skirt paired with black panties.

Zendaya kicked off the day by stepping out in a white Burberry military-style jacket with cutouts slashed throughout and black buttons on the sleeves and front. The straight jacket-esque piece, which is from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, dipped in front, adding a little bit more coverage to the sheer black maxi skirt she paired it with. Worn over a pair of black underwear, the see-through mesh skirt featured a sky-high slit in the front that showed off Zendaya’s surprisingly summery footwear of choice: Cream knotted flip flop-inspired heels that laced up her legs. The actress swapped out her glam Challengers-era blowouts for a wet hair look, styling her ombre locks in beachy waves that looked like she’d just gotten out of the water. She kept her accessories simple, adding a pair of subtle small hoops for a bit of shine.

Later in the day, the Dune star hit the town with her co-stars Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler in a playful look from Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2025 collection. The off-the-shoulder emerald green mini dress leaned into the resurgence of the Noughties bubble skirt, thanks to its voluminous silhouette and billowing long sleeves. Zendaya balanced the oversized shape of the flirty gown by leaving her legs bare and adding a pair of black satin pointy-toed pumps. The stylish star kept her casual slicked-back hairstyle from earlier that day, and added a swipe of peach lipstick to her glowy makeup look. A pair of small diamond earrings were the icing on the cake for Zendaya’s night out look, which debuted on the runway just one week earlier.
