She subtly displayed a sparker on *that* finger.

Zendaya knows how to make a statement during award season, and with the help of longtime stylist Law Roach, the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards was no exception. On Sunday, January 4, the Euphoria alum caused a stir as she made her solo entrance with a cherry-cola bob, a burnt-orange ballgown paired with matching pointy-toed heels, and a multi-watt statement diamond necklace. However, another piece of jewelry quickly caught the eye of eagle-eyed viewers: a sparkling ring that Zendaya displayed oh-so-casually on her wedding finger.

The Challengers star sparked engagement rumors with the jewelry piece, which she flashed on her left ring finger. While Zendaya intentionally didn’t walk the Golden Globes red carpet with longtime boyfriend Tom Holland, it’s likely that her Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star entered separately and settled in the audience to support his girlfriend from afar, as she is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role as Tashi in Challengers.

Sunday’s red carpet appearance was significant as it was the first time Zendaya has attended a Golden Globe award show since 2016, and fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to speculate on the meaning of her mysterious ring.

Both Zendaya and Holland have yet to comment on the most recent speculation, but the couple, a.k.a. “Tendaya,” have reportedly discussed marriage in their future. “There has been talk of marriage, and that is a reality," an insider told People last April. However, the source said it was likely that the pair would keep the news of an engagement to themselves initially.

“They are not the kind of stars who put their lives together out there on social media for the most part," the source added, explaining that because they’re “private,” having their romance in public “has never been easy or comfortable for either of them."

InStyle has reached out to representatives for Zendaya and Tom Holland for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
