Judd, 60, has been taking care of the toddler after Kelley was arrested multiple times over the past year, and during the Thursday, Jan. 30, episode of the NBC talk show, the "No One Else On Earth" singer offered a rare comment on her life as Kaliyah's grandmother and full-time guardian.

"I don't have a computer, Judd revealed. "I don't watch television unless it's planned 'cause I'm raising my 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter, I listen to her."

"So I don't really, I do a lot of Instagram," she added.

While host Jenna Bush Hager wanted to know if Judd's granddaughter is into the popular animated children's show Bluey, the musician said Kaliyah prefers Ms. Rachel.

"I'm about to lose my mind," Judd then quipped.

"Listen, I have three kids switch to—now I like Ms. Rachel, nothing wrong with Ms. Rachel," added Bush Hager, who shares three kids with husband Henry Hager.

"I do too," Judd replied. "I just can't talk like that. I wish I could be that animated, but I just don't know how."

Judd has been caring for Kaliyah in the midst of her daughter's various run-ins with the law, which include three arrests in 2024. Most recently, Kelley—who Judd shares with ex Arch Kelley III—was arrested in October 2024 for allegedly stealing a church's van in Charlottesville, Va. The Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene subsequently confirmed the church's van was stolen in a statement shared on its related GoFundMe page.

Kelley faced seven charges, including three counts of felony grand larceny, and according to the report from the Daily Progress, she was still being held with bail at Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail as of December 2024.
