Beats Studio3 Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones, $449
These are great for the gym, or if you're not keen on in-ear buds.
They're made by Apple and have soft-ear cushions so they're comfortable over a long period of time. They have active noise cancellation, are adjustable so they fit any size and shape head, and give 22 hours of playtime after a 10 minute charge. They look pretty cool too.

These have been specifically designed to wear in the gym. They're optimised for moisture resistance so they don't get spoilt by sweat, and have a clamping force so you don't have to worry about them slipping off your head.
