Woolworths brings back wildly popular $28 cheese advent calendar: 'Delicious'

'Never been happier' one person said about the new way to count down to Christmas.

Who says that you have to have chocolate as you count down the 12 days of Christmas?

Woolies knows that the way to many people's hearts is with cheese and has brought back their popular crafted cheese advent calendar to count down to the big day.

"My favourite Advent Calendar has just been spotted by Mark at Woolworths! It's back for 2023!" Food Mumma Ren posted on her Facebook page.

Top quality cheese

Made in the United Kingdom, the Thomas Dux 12 Days Of Cheese Advent Calendar, $28, contains 12 mini portions of British craft cheeses in six varieties.

Each calendar includes two of each of the following:

  • Cheddar Cheese with black pepper

  • Double Gloucester Cheese

  • Mature Cheddar Cheese

  • Red Leicester Cheese

  • Cheddar Cheese with Chilli

  • Double Gloucester Cheese with Spring Onions and chives

"Oh my lord, I have never been happier I’m gonna buy 2 so I can have 24 days of cheesemas," one user wrote.

"We had this one last year it was delicious," another added while a third stated: "Omg I've never wanted an advent calendar so much."

The calendars have already hit the shelves but judging by the online popularity, you may need to be quick.
