"Remember the time I accidentally found out my ex was lying to me bc he said 'goodnight' & I watched his steps on Apple Watch continue to go up and up after he supposedly went to sleep... Betch you went out... you ain't sleepin'," she said on the clip, which has since been viewed over 200K times.

Kristen explained she hadn't even meant to check up on him, but was just looking at her own steps for the day when she noticed his improving despite the late hour.

Thinking he was cheating on her, she asked him about it, revealing his response was that he had visited a strip club. But in the end the dishonesty was enough for her to decide to leave him.

"He never did find out how I knew he was at the strip club that night.. best hacks revealed lol also I wouldn't have even cared, why u lying," she added in the caption.

In a subsequent video she also said: "When my future daughter grows up to be a strong, independent woman, who knows her worth & doesn't let any obstacle or man bring her down."

Her video received plenty of praise, with many also loving the sneaky 'spy' tactic.

"Oh honey, you just gave me the best idea," one person said, while another simply wrote: "APPLE WATCH."

She also had plenty of support.

"I'd smack him for you sis," one follower said.

"Hate him," another replied.

Earlier this year another woman shared a similar story after discovering her partner was cheating on her thanks to her Fitbit.

Nadia Essex, a relationship expert from UK show Celebs Go Dating, shared the shocking story on her TikTok back in March, in response to a trending question: 'the moment you knew your relationship was over'.

"I thought, let me make him some breakfast," she said, after her now ex-boyfriend had come home after a night out.

“I got a notification on my FitBit ... the FitBit that we had synched together ... that between 2 o’clock and 3 o’clock in the morning, yesterday morning, he had burned over 500 calories."

As she was not the one responsible for helping her partner burn the calories in question, Nadia said she instead "shoved that breakfast where the sun doesn’t shine darling."
