Harry and Meghan savaged after Cambridges' birthday post
Birthday wishes have been rolling in for Meghan Markle, who celebrated her 38th birthday on Sunday, but while some royal fans celebrated the occasion online, others couldn’t help but use the opportunity to remind Harry and Meghan about their own birthday post fail.
It seems royal fans are still not over the fact Harry and Meghan didn’t share their own post for Prince George’s birthday back in July.
So when William and Kate took to their own Instagram account, Kensington Royal, to wish Meghan a happy birthday, the comment section was filled with praise for the Cambridges’ ‘class act’, rather than well wishes for the Duchess of Sussex.
“Seriously all the royal accounts wished her a proper birthday wishes!! Something that she couldn’t do for them,” one person commented.
“Happy birthday Meghan from PRINCE George, PRINCESS Charlotte & PRINCE Louis,” another fan wrote - in reference to the fact Meghan and Harry did not address George by his title in their birthday wish.
“How generous... The Cambridges used her title and posted on their Instagram account,” read another comment.
“Thank you to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for always being a class act,” another wrote.
“That’s very lovely of k&w to make an instagram post dedicated for m's bday,” a third agreed.
Some however did come to Meghan and Harry’s defence, wishing the Duchess of Sussex happy birthday, and calling out William and Kate for using a group photo of the fab four, rather than one of just Meghan.
“Wait... and why doesn't she have a picture of her alone? It's ‘HER’ birthday right?” one person asked.
“This might get me blocked but.... all these royal photographers couldn’t find a pic of Meghan in the centre,” another pointed out.
“How lovely! Just a shame some people have to ruin this. Happy birthday Meghan,” a third added.
