Why MAFS' Jessika Power is no longer moving back to Australia
EXCLUSIVE: The reality star is extending her stay in the UK.
Married At First Sight's Jessika Power is set to remain in the UK for the foreseeable future, despite previously revealing plans to move back to Australia following her split from her British boyfriend Connor Thompson.
The 31-year-old, who has appeared on a string of reality shows around the world since her time on MAFS in 2019, announced in June that she and Connor had called it quits after almost two years together.
The reality star subsequently told fans she was “saving money” to relocate back to the Gold Coast and working out the logistics of bringing her dog Sushi with her.
However, Yahoo Lifestyle can reveal that Jessika has since grown close to British DJ and music producer Brent Anthony and has no plans to leave England.
The pair have recently been teasing their romance on Instagram, with one source saying “it's only been a month or so” but “they're pretty inseparable”.

A second source claims that Jessika's decision to not formally announce her new romance might be because she is contractually obligated to remain single until her season of MTV's Celebrity Ex On The Beach airs in 2024.
The Sun claims Jessika filmed the upcoming series in September, two months after her split from Connor, and is set to come face-to-face with her former MAFS co-star Tamara Joy.
Jessika reveals why she will never return to MAFS
Following her recent break-up, Jessika took part in an Instagram Q&A where she was asked if she’d ever go back on MAFS to try and find love.
“No,” she bluntly replied. “In a short word, just no.
“I think MAFS really has contributed to my relationships now, so I think doing MAFS again, I'd either find somebody who's perfect or I'd find somebody who was the same as what I had last time and then I’d just continue to push myself back in my actual real-life relationships.
“So yeah, I don't think so. It doesn't really sound like that much fun to me. And it goes for a long time and we filmed for so long, it was horrible. Towards the end of it, I was so done. But, yeah no, I just don't think I have the patience anymore.”
