Wheel of Fortune viewers shocked after host slams contestant
Wheel of Fortune viewers were left in shock earlier this week when host Pat Sajak seemingly didn't appreciate a contestant sharing a story during the player interviews.
Pat was interviewing contestant Scott Ingwersen when the surprise moment played out.
Before Scott even had a chance to share his story, Sajak read his note card and was not impressed.
“Why am I mentioning this?” Sajak asked. “It's on your card. You had your big toe chopped off. Why are you telling this?”

“It's important to know that when I was 12 years old, I was riding a 10-speed bike with flip-flops, and I fell and completely cut off the top of my toe,” Scott explained.
“The next car that came by were two paramedics that were on their way to their job, and they said, 'It's just a laceration.' But I didn't know what that was, so it freaked me out even more. And my toe is reattached, and I just want to say thank you to them 30 years later.”
Sajak quickly shushed the applauding audience and said, “That may have been the most pointless story ever told. And you told it, Scott. Congratulations to you.”
Some social media users jokingly called Pat "cold blooded" while others thought it was genuinley rude.
"A contestant on Wheel of Fortune was telling a story. When he finished. Pat said to him... That may have been the most pointless story ever told," one user Tweeted. When did Pat Sajak get so cold-blooded?"
"Is anyone else watching Wheel of Fortune??? Pat Sajak is such an a**hole who says to someone 'that’s the most pointless story ever' when someone is opening up on National TV???"
