Viewers left confused by who I'm A Celeb stars actually are
A new year marks a brand new season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, where we can all rejoice in watching some of our favourite celebs try and survive without phones, agents and running water in the South African jungle.
However, the premiere of the show on Sunday night left some viewers rather confused by who some of the stars actually… er…. are.
This year’s lineup includes former Biggest Loser host Ajay Rochester, Gogglebox stars Angie and Yvie, politician Jacqui Lambie, Love Island star Justin Lacko and former MasterChef star Justine Schofield.
Also joining them in the jungle is former of The X-Factor host Luke Jacobz, journalist Natasha Exelby – famous for her 2017 blooper – ‘gossip guru’ Richard Reid, politician Sam Dastyari, actor Tahir Bilgiç and former AFL star Dermott Brereton.
Many fans took to Twitter to express their confusion over who the stars are:
I genuinely only know 2 of the “celebrities” on #ImACelebrityAU … I never watch that rubbish, but why would I watch a show without celebrities when the whole idea of the show is for celebrities to be in the jungle?

While some hilariously pointed out even the celebrities didn’t recognise their fellow campmates:
The celebs not even recognise their fellow celebrities #ImACelebAU

It appears the “who” questions were pre-empted by the show as the official account for I’m A Celeb tweeted, “If you’re asking ‘WHO?!’ after seeing our Celebs, this handy guide will help answer that question for you.”

You never know though, these folks may offer up some great entertainment for Australia to enjoy – we’ll just have to wait and see.
I’m A Celeb continues tonight on Channel 10 at 7.30pm.
