Yahoo Lifestyle Vera Wang, 75, Wears Daringly Low Backless Gown as She Matches Again with Daughters for New Year’s Eve
The fashion designer and her children, Cecilia and Josephine, recently coordinated in violet ensembles for Christmas

When it comes to the holidays, the fashion industry icon loves to coordinate outfits with her daughters, Cecilia Becker, 34, and Josephine Becker, 31, which she did again for their New Year’s Eve festivities in Miami.
On Jan. 1, the designer shared new portraits of herself alongside her girls, all glammed up in matching mauve gowns.
Wang, 75, took front in center in a floor-length metallic pink halter dress from her eponymous label. The design featured a major bow embellishment skin-baring back that scooped all the way to her rear. She showed off the sexy silhouette in solo photos that she captioned, “Think pink.”
Cecilia wore a mauve purple strapless gown with a dramatic skirt while Josephine wore a similar dress that had a low-cut fitted bodice with thick straps. The siblings styled their long hair in a sleek style, just like their mom, and accessorized with long drop earrings.

Wang’s home decor could be seen in the background of the snapshots. She decked out her house in purple-lit Christmas trees and large ornament-like ceiling fixtures. She also hung up pink balloons that spelled out “2025.”
“From our family to yours. Happy safe and healthy 2025!” Wang captioned the picture.

Cecilia also shared a series of images, including snapshots of her outfit and an impressive charcuterie spread featured at the party, to her public Instagram account. “2025, it was enchanting to meet you,” she wrote, likely referring to Taylor Swift's song “Enchanted” and her Speak Now era.
Recently, Wang shared age-defying photos of her and her daughters clad in festive violet dresses for Christmas, which was a different concept from when they dressed up metallic teal ensembles and Santa hats the following year.
Wang shares daughter Cecilia and Josephine with ex-husband Arthur Becker.
In 2007, Cecilia opened up to Seventeen magazine about her and her mom’s close bond.
“While most people turn to my mom for her great style, I respect her great advice. She tells me to work hard at school and keep my options open so I can find my own passion in life," she wrote at the time. She followed in Wang’s footsteps and became the interior designer and founder of Cecilia Sloane Interiors.
Josephine has mostly kept out of the public eye, but has attended red carpet events, including the high-profile CFDA Awards in November 2023, with her mom and sister in the past couple of years.
