Vanna White Declared 'Unrecognizable' During Super Casual Errand Run in LA

Vanna White has become known as quite the fashionista over the years, stepping out to the Wheel of Fortune stage in a fabulous gown–or a statement-making pantsuit–night after night.

While some of her on-set closet shimmers and other pieces sparkle, the wardrobe she has for herself at home is much more basic, as seen by new photos snapped by paparazzi this past weekend.

The new photos were first obtained by the Daily Mail on Wednesday, Nov. 13, and show the 67-year-old game show personality walking back to her car and dressed very casually, wearing a gray sweater that had "New York" printed across the bust, a pair of black skinny jeans and tall charcoal Ugg boots–all items many of us probably have some variation of. She styled her blonde hair up and went makeup-free while running a few errands in Los Angeles.

WoF's longtime letter-turner was clearly caught off-guard in the photos, coupled with the out-of-character ensemble, and some social media users took it as a sign to be critical. Even the outlet dubbed her "unrecognizable."

But other fans were fast to jump in and defend the star.

"She looks great!" one fan gushed on X (formerly Twitter) before a second similarly shared, "Looks great to me."

"This is what 67 looks like without makeup," a different fan wrote in part. "She's lovely."

"She looks fresh faced," another chimed in.

"Leave her alone," one more declared. "And she looks fabulous, by the way."

Since apparently some fans think she should be buying groceries in a ballgown, this seems like a good time to remind viewers that Vanna doesn't get to keep the extravagant ensembles she wears on TV.

"I don't get to keep the clothes, but they do let me borrow them," she previously told Parade. "The designers let me borrow them for events like the Oscars or Emmys or things like that."
