Vanna White Apologizes for 'Shenanigans' in 'WoF' Promo Video

Vanna White issued a tongue-in-cheek apology to her Wheel of Fortune co-host after the game show shared its latest promo video on social media.

As the video demonstrated, White and co-host Ryan Seacrest engaged in some “snowy shenanigans” while filming promotional clips in Park City, Utah. The video began with White, 67, and Seacrest, 50, throwing snowballs at each other while decked out in cold weather gear. Snow coated the ground they stood on and dusted the trees visible behind them in the distance. While Seacrest’s snowball did not make contact, White’s hit the TV personality directly in the face.

Additional clips included in the video that the show posted on its official Instagram account on Thursday, Jan. 23, showed more peaceful moments between the co-hosts as they stood beneath falling snow, sipped from cups full of whipped cream-topped cocoa and recited promotional copy for the cameras surrounding them.

At one point, a wheezing Seacrest was heard admitting, “This altitude is getting to me.” In another moment of levity, he attempted to ski down a slope but ended up crashing into a snowbank.

White issued her apology in the post’s comment section, writing, “Sorry about that snowball to the face, @ryanseacrest 🤣 What fun we had!”

Seacrest responded directly to the comment as he reassured White, “I’d take another snowball to the face just to be back there. So much fun !”

Fans got a kick out of the “great chemistry” on display between the show’s stars, with one writing, “This is just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.”

“You two are so great together! Feels like the show has been refreshed with a new fun feeling ❤️,” another fan gushed.

While one fan told White and Seacrest they “Love your shenanigans,” another described the video as “Brutal!” while a third admitted they were “Cracking up🤣😂” before tagging Seacrest’s Instagram account and adding, ”hope you’re ok ⛷️ ❄️.”

Another fan jokingly shared a new idea for Wheel of Fortune contestants who run into bad luck on air—an idea seemingly inspired by the promo video’s opening clip. “Consolation for contestants who land on Bankrupt: throw a mound of snow at Ryan. 😂,” they suggested.
