Vakoo Kauapirura may not have found love on The Bachelor but the 23-year-old model isn’t about to give up on her dreams for romance.

In fact, the African beauty tells Yahoo Lifestyle in an exclusive chat that she has her sights set on appearing on Channel 10’s other dating show, The Bachelorette.

“I love Channel 10 and they’ve been so good to me so, The Bachelorette ... that would be everything,” she gushes.

It’s not just Vakoo who thinks so. Fans on social media are rooting for her to appear on the next season of the show after ex-Gogglebox star Angie Kent - or even on Bachelor In Paradise.

Vakoo explains how becoming the Bachelorette would mean more than just finding a partner, but also help to promote diversity in the Australian media landscape.

“I’ve had a lot of positive messages from young black women and women of colour just being really happy that they have representation on Australian TV,” she says of her stint on The Bachelor.

While she admits she doesn’t want to be a role model, she is “really proud” to have been able to listen and help the many women who have reached out to her with the problems they’re facing as women of colour living in Australia.

“Now that I’ve been on [The Bachelor] and gotten that response, I definitely want to do more [TV]” she says.

If her Bachelorette hopes aren’t realised, Vakoo says that her “dream role” would be to have her own TV show, an idea we can definitely get behind.

“I’m sure I’ll be on screens soon and I’m sure I’ll work with Channel 10 again,” she adds.
