Vakoo’s mysterious disappearance on The Bachelor explained
She stole the spotlight during premiere night with her catwalk skills, but Vakoo Kauapirura seemed to be missing in action during The Bachelor last night, and fans were understandably alarmed.
The 23-year-old model, who has already impressed Matt Agnew with her infectious personality and runway poses, was seen at the group date at the start of the episode, before miraculously disappearing altogether at the cocktail party and rose ceremony.
Did Matt secretly give Vakoo the boot? Had she pulled a runner after realising what an astrophysicist is?
Twitter had a lot of theories about the model’s bizarre absence from the Channel Ten show, that was absolutely unexplained on screen.
Theories on where Vakoo is:
1. Watering Jarrod’s plant
2. Checking her contract to make sure it excludes dirty street pies

Well, fret not Bachie lovers, the queen herself has answered the big mystery herself and now we’re kicking ourselves for not thinking of conjunctivitis ourselves.
“Conjunctivitis got the best of me before tonight’s rose ceremony,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
“But never fear, Matt gave me my rose off camera.”
The Bachelor continues next Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel Ten.
