From multiple published books on her famous recipes and entertaining advice to her fan-favorite television series "The Martha Stewart Show," she’s built an empire. In her recent Netflix documentary, simply titled "Martha," she reentered the news cycle, showing fans a more vulnerable side to her celebrity personality. Fans know they can always rely on her for helpful kitchen tricks, and in a recent interview, her Thanksgiving stuffing hack is one I’ll definitely be saving for later.

What Kind of Bread Does Martha Stewart Use for Stuffing?

Stewart recently partnered with Pure Leaf tea for the brand’s “Do It Yourself” campaign, which promotes the ease of sipping Pure Leaf tea over brewing your own and the downtime you gain as a result. The partnership even includes a humorous ad.

With all that extra downtime, Parade decided to ask Stewart what she thought was worth doing as we prepare for holiday hosting—and her answer offered some helpful time-saving tips.

“I always home make my desserts and pies for Thanksgiving, and I also love to make my stuffing from scratch,” she said in the interview. “However, sometimes I’ll use store-bought brioche for the stuffing if I don’t have time to make my own—that's another great time-saving hack that still produces an amazing result!”

Stewart’s stuffing recipe is already fairly easy to assemble, but using store-bought brioche bread can cut prep time practically in half. Brioche bread, made from enriched dough that uses eggs, sugar, and butter, has a tighter crumb, which is perfect for absorbing liquids like those tasty drippings from the stuffing mix. I know I’ll be using this recipe and tip for the upcoming holiday season.
