TVLine Items: Super Bowl to Stream Free on Tubi, Richard Jenkins Joins DTF St. Louis and More
Looking for a way to watch this year’s Super Bowl for free? Tubi has you covered. (But you still have to pay for chips and soda.)
Next month’s Super Bowl LIX, airing on Fox, will also be available to stream on Tubi, Fox’s free ad-supported streaming service, Fox Sports announced on Wednesday. Tubi viewers will be able to watch Fox’s broadcast of the big game live in 4K on Sunday, Feb. 9, preceded by a special live pre-show, Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX, hosted by Olivia Culpo and beginning at 3:30 pm ET. The Tubi pre-show will cover “the celebrity, fashion and culture behind America’s biggest sports event,” per the official press release.

* Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Richard Jenkins (Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story) has joined the cast of the HBO dark comedy DTF St. Louis, our sister site Deadline reports, with Jason Bateman and David Harbour already set to star. Jenkins will play a police detective investigating a death that results from a love triangle gone bad.
* Effective Monday, February 10, NewsNation will air On Balance — hosted by anchor/reporter Leland Vittert — weeknights at 9/8c, with Elizabeth Vargas Reports moving to the 7 o’clock hour. The cabler has also inked a new multi-year agreement with Vargas to continue hosting her weeknight program.
