Ever wondered what the 2019 TV Week Logie Awards attendees get to tuck into after posing and schmoozing their way along the red carpet?

We’ve got the inside word on the mouthwatering meals set to be served on TV’s night of nights.

Logie nominees Asher Keddie, Jacki Weaver and Ray Meagher - among others - will be treated to a four-course feast at glitzy venue The Star Gold Coast.

A team of 80 chefs will have spent a whopping 400 hours prepping, by the time they have prepared the fancy spread for the bash on Sunday 30 June.

Pacific oysters with finger lime caviar, chives and spicy ponzu as well as salmon aburi nigiri will be served upon arrival, followed by entrées including Mooloolaba tuna.

A Northern Rivers Pumpkin dish - aptly served in a pumpkin - and a Confit Red Gum Farm Egg Yolk round out the entrée list.

The main course consists of a Pan Seared Queensland Mulloway with baked polenta, persimmon jam and fennel buerre blanc.

If that isn’t to their taste, members of the showbiz elite can opt for a Stockyard Kiwami Wagyu Brisket with black garlic ketchup, braised beetroot and shaved kohlrabi.

But forget about the first three courses - in our opinion the pièce de résistance is undoubtedly the gleaming, gilded dessert called the Nineteen Gold Bar.

Featuring local macadamia praline and looking like a solid gold bullion bar, the delectable dessert is the creation of in-house restaurant Nineteen At The Star.

So if Gold Logie nominees Amanda Keller, Costa Georgiadis, Waleed Aly et al miss out on nabbing the top gong at least they’ll get their hands - or mouths - on some gold.

After eating - and drinking - their fill and partying the night away, the celebs will (eventually) retire to one of The Star’s luxe $5,000 a night rooms.
