TV reality star publicly slams co-star's 'tacky' $3k wedding ask
Some very dirty laundry has been aired on Twitter for all to see today, after a Big Brother star shamed her co-star’s ‘tacky’ wedding ask.
Janelle Pierzina is a US reality star best known for her stints on Big Brother, most recently returning for an all-star season where she and former friend Nicole Franzel clashed heads.
Upon Janelle’s exit, Nicole even rescinded her invitation to her upcoming nuptials in a scathing exit message.
It seems the star thought better of her angry outburst and sent her former friend an invitation anyway, not realising Janelle was far from ready to kiss and makeup.
Upon receiving the invitation to the luxury event, the TV star took to Twitter to share an image of the invite, and to publicly slam Nicole for a ‘cheap-ass’ wedding which she had asked guest’s to pitch in $3,000 of their own funds to attend.
“Just received my invite,” she wrote. “3k for a hotel so Nicole’s reception and hotel stay can basically be comped. Glad I don’t have to go.”
She went on to make a nasty dig at the bride-to-be: “I hate cheap ass weddings where the go-to song is Cotton Eyed Joe.”

The star explained further in comments that the wedding would be held on the Turks and Caicos Islands, and the $3k would cover ‘room, food and alcohol’ for three nights.
Others on the thread pointed out that they had stayed on the resort islands for less than the asking price for a whole week, leading many to assume the bride was getting guests to cover her wedding costs.
Responses to the scathing post were mixed.

Some pointed out that publicly sharing Nicole’s wedding plans to get back at her was a ‘terrible move’.
“Don't be a mean girl Jani,” one person wrote. “This is such a terrible move by you.”
“So she was nice enough to invite you after all and this is how you respond?” another queried. “I’m sorry but I think that’s not classy AT ALL. Little disappointed, Janelle.”
Others took aim instead at Nicole, gobsmacked that she would require guests to fork out the money to cover her own wedding stay.
“Who makes their wedding guests pay $3,000 to attend?” one wondered.
“I’ve been there 7 days and it came out to being less than $3k,” another pointed out. “She wants y’all to pay for the wedding.”
“3k for 3 days is definitely contributing to the wedding costs,” another pointed out. “Tacky.”
It’s not the first, and probably won’t be the last, time a couple’s wedding demands have rubbed guests up the wrong way.
One bride planning a wedding in the midst of the pandemic had an online rant backfire, after she criticised a guest’s illogical decision to skip the ceremony because masks weren’t being enforced.
“Has anyone confronted how illogical some people are being?” she wondered at the post’s conclusion.
Needless to say, many hit back arguing the ‘illogical’ person in the scenario was hardly the bridesmaid, but rather the bride herself.
