Good Morning America co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have reportedly left their spouses after an alleged months-long affair. It is believed the anchors of the popular program sparked up a romance in March after they were training for the New York City half marathon.
Page Six exclusively revealed the pair had been seen 'canoodling' in bars back in May, with a staffer suggesting the co-hosts have been "careful" to hide the alleged affair.
"They have a very cosy relationship on-air, but that is what is expected. But they were very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair secret. the producers at 'GMA' are shocked to hear they are having an affair," the source told the publication.
Daily Mail has shared a steamy photo of the pair cuddling and laughing in a bar and T.J. affectionately brushing Amy's shoulder.
The publication claims in another snap the pair were seen holding hands in the back of an Uber.
An inside source told Daily Mail the pair have been close friends and often ran together and socialised with each other's spouses.
While the pair both appear to have deactivated their Instagram accounts, Page Six reports fans pointed out Amy had not been wearing a wedding ring in recent photos and had stopped sharing snaps of her husband Andrew Shue.
The co-hosts have been presenting Good Morning America's lunchtime show GMA3 together since 2020 and both married their spouses in 2010.
"They've recently grown even closer due to their cohosting GMA3, and travelling for special remote assignments, like going to London for the Queen's funeral," one source told Entertainment Tonight.
"The two have a special bond that has been evident to staff for years, so it's not surprising a relationship has formed, but it is shocking that it has come to light in this way."
