The truth about MAFS' Martha and Rhyce Power's relationship

They were spotted getting cozy at an event earlier in the week, and now Rhyce Power has responded to the rumours he is dating ‘happily married’ Martha Kalifatidis.

Despite Martha and TV hubby Michael Brunelli still being together on Married At First Sight, the 30-year-old caused a furore when she was spotted getting very close to co-star Jessika Power’s brother Rhyce at Melbourne Fashion Festival show.

Taking to his Instagram stories on Thursday, Rhyce shared an image of himself and Martha from the event alongside the hashtag “just mates”.

Photos from the event, which quickly went viral, showed the pair sitting next to each other in the front row of the runway show. At one point they were holding each other’s hands, with Rhyce also leaning into the makeup artist and whispering into her ear.

While the pair may have arrived at the event on Tuesday separately, an onlooker revealed they were very “cozy” and “cuddled up” with “Michael nowhere to be seen”.

Sharing a photo of Martha and Rhyce together at the event to a Facebook fan page, the person said there was definitely chemistry between the two.

“I overheard someone ask if they’re together and she said, ‘We’re not allowed to say anything’,” the post read.

Rhyce became an internet sensation after we were introduced to his sister Jessika on the Channel Nine dating show.

Fans of the show couldn’t get over just how hot Jessika’s brother is. With his piercing blue eyes, bold tattoos and undeniable confidence, Rhyce has the sexy bad boy thing down pat.

While Martha and Michael’s relationship has seemed to be one of the strongest on the show, Martha has been expressing doubts this week about Michael being “too nice”. The show finished filming months ago, but she’s still posting photos of the pair on her Instagram page.

Wife swapping has been a recurring theme on this season of MAFS. First it was Ines and Sam ditching their other halves to secretly meet up in hotel rooms, and during dinner parties.

And then Rhyce’s sister Jessika announced she was “done” with Mick, and setting her sights on intruder Dan.
