Why MAFS star Dan agreed to having an affair with Jess

We’ve heard them talk about it, but now the Jess and Dan affair has finally played out on our screens.

In what’s the second cheating scandal for MAFS this year, the reality stars hooked up in secret during tonight’s episode, just metres away from their partners Mick and Tamara.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Dan says there’s appealing qualities in both Tamara and Jess, but he likes to go “with inner feelings”, which explains his tryst with Jess.

“I think Jess is pretty. I think Tam is extremely pretty as well. I think they both have great values. I’m more of a guy who goes with inner feelings and the way they make me feel,” he says.

“It’s all about the vibes. You get feelings and it’s hard to express them when you get the butterflies, it doesn’t happen often.”

Tonight Jess made it very clear she gets “butterflies” when she’s around Dan, and told the father of one she’s keen to stick around in the social experiment for him, not her husband Mick.

“I have been with Mick for six weeks and I’m not happy and I’m not someone to lie, I’m not somebody to fake it,” she said, after luring him away from the dinner party.

Dan admitted he saw wife Tamara as more of a “friend”, and that there was definitely an attraction between him and Jess.

“You make me feel giddy… I’m nervous around you, but like in a good way,” Jess confessed.

“That’s such a rare feeling for me. I never get this feeling.”

After maintaining some serious eye contact, the pair shared one very long pash.

“You’re a good kisser too,” Dan quipped after their sneaky smooch.

While they did their best to discreetly return to the dinner table, it surely won’t be long before someone discovers the secret affair.

“When it comes to couple swapping, that’s not something I’m about,” Dan’s wife Tamara tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

“I’m a very loyal person. I don’t agree with it. It’s not something I would personally get mixed up in.”
