Yahoo Lifestyle Travis Kelce's Dad Ed Shares Rare Comment on Son’s Relationship With Taylor Swift
As football fans gear up for Super Bowl LIX, Travis Kelce's dad, Ed Kelce, offered a rare insight into his son's relationship with Taylor Swift.
On Feb. 6, Ed appeared on Australia’s Today show to chat about how he felt ahead of the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Feb. 9.
Additionally, he complimented Swift's improved understanding of football compared to last season and dished on her and Travis' plans for the postseason.
“I think, you know we get past the Super Bowl, and I think it's going to be a very good period of time for the two of them," he said. "Without the NFL season, without the Eras Tour, just them alone, really connecting more."
Ed added, "I think that can only be a good thing."
After the host jokingly asked, "When's the wedding?" Ed was speechless for a moment before laughing and replying, "Did you really think that I was going to come up with that?"
Travis recently fielded a similar question when a reporter asked if he would propose to Swift if the Chiefs won the 2025 Super Bowl.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" the 35-year-old NFL star slyly responded.

Swift is expected to attend the Chiefs-Eagles matchup to cheer on her tight-end beau as the Chiefs try for a three-peat championship win. And Swifties will certainly be watching to see if that proposal happens!
