Tom Holland Called Zendaya the "Best Thing" to Ever Happen to Him
Yet another reason they are Hollywood's cutest It couple.
Has there ever been a cuter Hollywood couple than Tom Holland and Zendaya? The wholesome Brad and Jen of the Gen Z generation, Holland and Zendaya never fail to be absolutely adorable. Who can forget the time Holland wowed his GF with his iconic lip sync of Rihanna's "Umbrella"? Or the time Zendaya said Holland was "too good" at dancing for her? Or the time Holland posted a sweet pic of Zendaya sharing a pint with him? Or the time the pair wore coordinated date night 'fits? All of those times that Holland made Zendaya double over with laughter? The list of their cute moments goes on and on—and now, there's a new item to add to the collection: speaking on the "Dish" podcast with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett, Holland confessed that Zendaya was the "best thing that's ever happened to me."
He then explained that he had been living with his girlfriend in Massachusetts while she was filming the upcoming film The Drama with Robert Pattinson—and when she gets home from set, he likes to have dinner waiting on the table—even if his cooking skills need a little work.
“I’m starting to venture into a lot of vegetarian cooking,” he said. “My girlfriend’s vegetarian. So, I’ve been in Boston these past few weeks and she’s been working so I’ve been doing a lot of the dinners, and they haven’t been great.”
Naturally, Holland heaped praise on Zendaya's culinary skills, though.
“I actually love Zendaya’s spicy vodka fusilli thingamagigy,” he said. “And it is delicious.”
It seemed Holland couldn't stop gushing about his girlfriend. Elsewhere in the interview, he revealed that the pair were actually planning on spending Christmas together with Zendaya's family.
He added, "I think what we'd like to start doing is rather than like, spending it with each family each year is to bring the families together," he said, describing their truly adorable future plans. "That's what I think we want to do next time. This time, 'cause we're both actors, we're terrible at organising things. So it hasn't happened yet. The thought's there. The idea has been planted."
