Yahoo Lifestyle Timothée Chalamet Reveals Funniest Part Of Losing At Award Shows
Timothée Chalamet has been nominated for Oscars, Golden Globes and other acting awards but has yet to come home with the big prize.
But don’t feel sorry for the 28-year-old. He recently revealed in an interview on the Sirium XM show “The Morning Mashup” that there’s at least one part of losing he finds “uniquely hilarious.”
Chalamet admitted the question was “great,” since he has just been nominated for a Golden Globe for playing songwriter Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown.”
“What a great question ’cause like you said, this is my fourth Golden Globe nomination,” Chalamet said, adding there is “nothing more uniquely hilarious” than coming home after an award show and tearing up “the little thing that you never had to use.”
Chalamet said that kind of experience makes a person think, “You narcissistic, arrogant prick. On what planet did you think you were gonna use this?”
Chalamet may have a chance to actually use a written speech on an award show stage this year since his performance in the Dylan biopic is getting lots of buzz.
“A Complete Unknown” opens nationally on Christmas Day.
