Travis Kelce was put on the spot and asked about Taylor Swift releasing new music, annnnnnnd the time has come to read into his answer.
Speaking to Pat McAfee—who casually asked if Taylor's working on more songs—Trav responded “There might be a few. I don’t know. There might be a few.” Pat then pressed further, asking Trav if he's heard any of Taylor's new music, and he shot back “You know I can’t say any of that…I hear music everywhere!”
But Pat STILL wasn't done, straight-up asking if Travis is a "motivator" for Taylor. The tight end's response? “Oh, come on now, you know it! I’ll never chime in, but you already know, I’m here to support it. I’m here to see where it can go.”
This comes as Travis confirmed that Taylor will be at the Chiefs' playoff game this weekend, telling Pat “You know it, baby. You know it’s playoff football, man.”
Anyway, circling back to Taylor's new music which may or may not exist, a source semi-recently told Us Weekly that the Grammy nominee wanted to start the new year on a restful note before beginning work on a new album and *potentially* going on a small tour again.
“She had such a great experience on Eras. She really wants to do it again,” a source said. “She loves being with all her fans; it inspires her. Things can change. A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis. She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”
