Tim McGraw Sends Bold Political Message in Touching Tribute for Wife Faith Hill

Tim McGraw doesn't always get political but when he does, it makes an impact.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the country singer took to Instagram with a touching tribute to his wife of nearly 28 years, Faith Hill, who just turned 57.

"Happy birthday to this remarkable woman! My beautiful, strong, crazy, bad--s wife!!!!" McGraw, 57, captioned his update. "I love my girl with everything that I am and could ever hope to be! She is our beacon, our rock, our strength. The girls and I are so very blessed!"

The featured image was a still shot of Hill as Margaret Dutton on the Yellowstone spinoff series 1883, in which McGraw also played her husband, James Dutton.

"Our girls could not have a better role model in their lives as how to be an incredibly strong woman," the doting husband continued before suddenly making a bold political statement.

"And how to believe in themselves and be in charge of their lives (every aspect of their lives)!" he concluded. "Let's honor the women in our lives with respect and make sure that we fight for their rights right alongside them!"

In the comments, many fans praised the "Live Like You Were Dying" singer for his birthday shoutout and supporting a woman's right to choose.

One Instagram user wrote, "HBD beautiful! 🥳🎂Tim, thank you for standing by women when our rights are being stolen. You are a great husband and father. I love you both!"

Another echoed, "How refreshing it is to see a man showing so much love & respect for his lady! If only more men were like you Mr McGraw! 🙌👏," as a different follower shared, "Such a powerful message to your wife, daughters and fans ❤️❤️❤️."

Meanwhile, someone else shared, "Happy birthday and a beautiful message to fight for women’s rights. Love your wife, you and your daughters. Most importantly how you respect women."

Still, some fans did not agree with McGraw's stance, with one Instagram user writing, "Their rights to do what?"

Another snarked, "Yes please help us women who are having men walk in our bathrooms!! And our daughters and nieces who are having boys pretend to be girls and going in their bathrooms and locker rooms!! 😢😢😤."

McGraw and Hill married on Oct. 6, 1996, and share three daughtersGracie, 27, Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 22.
