There have been several air fryer TikTok trends and hacks, but maybe none as sweet as this.

Jen Jones' video of turning a banana into the ultimate "healthy" air fryer dessert has taken TikTok by storm.

Screenshots of a woman putting a spoon of cooked banana and chocolate into her mouth from a plate; a second screen shot of her smiling at the camera at how good it tastes. The banana is shown cooked in its skin on a white plate with yoghurt

Jen slices an unpeeled banana down the centre and stuffs it with peanut butter, walnuts, chocolate and cinnamon.

She then puts the whole banana (skin on) and toppings into the air fryer at 400 degrees (204.4 C) for “five to six minutes”.

The brilliant recipe is topped off with a dollop of yogurt for her very own healthy take on a banana split.

Since Jen shared her now viral post, others have joined the "banana split challenge", putting their own spin by adding ice cream and other toppings.

Many have shared their thoughts on Jen's video, with one commenting: "You are hands down the QUEEN of the air fryer! Love your content 🥰."

"My daughter and I just made this," another said.

"She loved it. Thank you so much."

With over three million views, 1061 comments, and a dedicated hashtag with 5.9 million views, it's no wonder this recipe has exploded, with many trying their hands.
