The Project's Sarah Harris apologises to bosses over X-rated content: 'Unsavoury'

"No easy way to say that."

The Project's Sarah Harris has apologised to her bosses at Channel Ten after searching for X-rated content on her work phone for a segment.

The discussion arose while Sarah, Waleed Aly, Tom Cashman, and Kate Langbroek discussed something strange happening on a crocodile farm.

Apparently, a croc farm in Queensland has revealed they are experiencing an earlier mating season than usual, because the Australian Defence Force helicopters have triggered the reptiles with the vibrations they're producing.

"Helicopters are making the crocs horny," Sarah said, adding, "No easy way to say that."

"Experts aren't sure why, but they think the helicopter may have sounded like a thunderstorm – which can often get the reptiles feeling randy."

She continued, "I've been doing a bit of a deep dive. Apologies to Channel 10 because I've made some unsavoury searches on my work phone this afternoon."

Waleed joked that Sarah was making up excuses, saying, "Nice cover, Sarah."

Sarah then showed her co-hosts how the "horny crocs" get their mate's attention, which involves snapping their snouts, with the presenter slapping her hand on the desk repeatedly.

"The thudding is what they think the helicopters are," Tom said. "So have some empathy. Imagine when a helicopter went over you heard a male human sex noise."

Kate then questioned what that would sound like, with the presenter joking, "Probably, 'Oops, sorry,' or 'please.'"
