The Project viewers left fuming after guest's brutal cut-off: 'I'll wrap it up'
Sarah Harris awkwardly told Nicholas Braun: 'We’re running out of time'
Succession fans were left fuming last night after an interview on The Project with Nicholas Braun, who plays cousin Greg on the show, ended abruptly after just a few minutes.
The Hollywood star is in Australia to promote the final season of the hit Binge TV show, appearing via video link from Melbourne on the Channel 10 show.
However, after just five minutes, Nicholas was cut short by the panel in the middle of a story, just so they could go to ads and return with an interview with new I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant, Kerri-Anne Kennerley.
“You’re a bit ballsier than cousin Greg. We heard that there’s a story between you and Quentin Tarantino on a plane. Can you tell us what happened?” panellist Jan Fran asked Nicholas.
Nicholas launched into his story like they’d asked, saying he met the superstar film director when he was about 21 years old and had just made a Disney Channel movie, which was advertised in ‘teeny bopper magazines’.
“So I saw Quentin and he was in first class and I walked past him. And when I got to my seat I was like, ‘I have to do something, I have to say something to Quentin’,” Nicholas said.
“So I ripped the ad off the back of the magazine and I brought it to Quentin and I was like ‘Hi Quentin, you don’t know me but this is me here on this ad’.”

Nicholas went on to try and explain the rest of his story, however, Sarah Harris awkwardly interrupted him, saying “we’re running out of time”.
The Hollywood actor was undeterred, telling Sarah: "I know we’ll wrap it up, it’s a very important story”.
Sarah could be heard anxiously laughing in the background saying “we’ve got to go” before Nicholas ended his story abruptly.
“Great to join you guys, so fun. I’ll see you in person next time,” the A-lister graciously told the panel.
The show then cut to the ads before returning and running a pre-recorded interview with Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who chatted at length about going into the South African jungle.
Succession fans were left less than impressed online, with one person writing: “Bloody Channel 10 playing a like minute advert but had to cut off Nicholas Braun during his interview.”
Another agreed, saying: “When TV presenters think they're the stars... Cut him off.”
“Really a cut off?! Aw, man. Let me guess they want to promote more I'm A Celeb/KAK interview in this last part of the show bc cross promotion,” another viewer said.
