The Project host's trick to 'fool the nation' about her pregnancy: 'Wizardry'
She announced earlier this week that she's pregnant with an adorable shot of her baby bump and now The Project panelist Jan Fran has revealed how she managed to keep the news a secret for so long.
Taking to her social media account, the 37-year-old Walkley Award-winning journalist uploaded a carousel of photos, documenting the tricks used by the Channel 10 wardrobe department.
"Shoutout to the national heroes at @10styling who had to hide my massive cans on @theprojecttv using only vintage, borrowed, bespoke and stock items," she wrote.
"And shoutout to me for fooling the nation with the wily hands-in front- of-belly-pose that masks a growing gut and any existential dread one may feel about impending parenthood. See, everything is definitely fine."
Indeed, Jan is seen with both her hands folded over each other on the desk in each snap, looking stunning in an array of colourful tops.
It appears the Channel 10 styling department has used a mixture of ruffled tops and bold print to hide the star's growing baby bump.

Jan's The Project co-stars took to the comments section to write their own thoughts, with Carrie Bickmore saying: "Such a brilliant news! You beautiful human".
Lisa Wilkinson wrote: "And all those times we said to you, “How about we open the show with, ‘Hey Jan Fran, any news you’d like to share?’ And you said ‘f**k off!’ And we said, ‘OK, sure, your call’. That said, we are all so happy for you, you goddam legend!"
Jan jokingly responded: "I have no recollection of that happening 5 to 7 times."
Others commented on the post saying: "Wizardry!" and "They did good".
Jan Fran took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that she is expecting her first child, posting a hilarious picture from her garden.
"F**ked around and found out," Jan captioned a photo of herself, wearing only a singlet and knickers, and flashing her baby bump while standing under a clothesline in the middle of a yard.
The former SBS foreign correspondent - who was playing on the phrase 'f**k around and find out' in relation to unwanted consequences - has been married to comedy film director Al Morrow since 2015.
As co-host of Question Everything, ABC's hybrid comedy/current affairs panel with funnyman (and the brains behind Gruen) Wil Anderson, Jan is regularly "calling bulls***' on fake news, flimsy facts and misinformation in general.
"I've been doing this stuff in my line of work for ages," she told Yahoo Lifestyle of her new hosting gig last year.
"A lot of the videos that I make or stories that I cover often have a lot to do with just questioning stuff that we keep seeing on the news and current affairs and just calling bulls*** on a lot of things."
