The pair were talking to sexologist Chantelle Otten about her new podcast on Tuesday, when the host took the conversation in an awkward direction.
Chantelle was explaining that one in five people like herself will experience sexual pain. She described herself as a “femme person” and “a vulva owner”.
Suddenly, Larry looked extremely confused as he misheard the word vulva as the popular car brand Volvo.
“Did this turn into a car segment?” he asked sheepishly.
Without missing a beat, Kylie hit back at her co-host, saying: “I knew you would mishear that!”
Chantelle clarified that she was talking about the female anatomy, and asked Larry if he knew what a vulva was.
“Are we talking about having sex in cars now?” he quipped, leaving the two women in disbelief.
“It’s very safe sex though,” Kylie joked, with Larry adding that there are “lots of airbags” in Volvos.
The co-hosts promoted Chantelle’s new podcast Sex Therapy Sessions with Chantelle Otten, but Larry couldn’t help but make a final joke about his blunder.
“This segment proudly brought to you by Volvo, Wheels Car Magazine of the year, car of the year five times running,” he said.
“You can listen to the podcast in your Volvo if you want to,” Kylie chimed in.
Fans found the segment delightful, with some sharing their thoughts in the comment section.
“Larryyy stop it,” one person wrote.
“You dag Larry,” another joked, while a third called him the “real deal”.
“That’s where Volvo got its name,” another quipped.
Kylie's on-air blunder
This comes after Kylie and Larry attempted a hilarious stunt during a segment with a dog trainer.
The pair had been chatting to dog trainer Loretta Rabbit about her ‘dancing dogs’ at the Sydney Royal Easter Show when Larry announced he wanted to show off a trick of his own.
“Since your last visit, Kylie and I have been practising this move,” he told her, before dropping to the floor.
He attempted to crawl between Kylie’s legs, but disaster struck when he wasn’t able to make it all the way through. As Kylie started to pull herself off Larry’s back, he abruptly stood up, sending her crashing onto the floor.
The co-hosts erupted into a fit of laughter and were unable to form a coherent sentence.
“Very impressive,” Loretta quipped, before saying it’s definitely easier to work with dogs.
“What happened? We’ve been practising that for years!” Larry exclaimed.
“You might need a bit more training,” Loretta fired back.
