The Block's Tom and Sarah-Jane share exciting update: 'So blessed'

The Block's Tom and Sarah-Jane Celleja may not have had a winning result on the show last year, but things are only going up for the pair, who have announced they're expecting their second child.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Sarah-Jane shared a video of herself with a positive pregnancy test, as well as a clip from an ultrasound and video of Tom sharing his excitement at becoming a father of two.

The pair's daughter Cleo, two, also excitedly told the camera that the baby is in "mummy's tummy".

"So excited to announce Baby Calleja no.2 is incoming October 2023. We feel so blessed and we are already so in love," the pair wrote on Instagram.

As Sarah-Jane shows the positive pregnancy test, she explains to the camera, "It's like the faintest line, but I promise it's there!"

While having the ultrasound, she marvels at how small the baby is after being told it's 1.33 centimetres.

Alisa and Lysandra Fraser, who appeared on season seven of The Block, shared their congratulations, writing, "Wohooo so exciting, congrats guys."

Grafico Group's Damian Corney added, "Oh wow, great news guys. Congratulations."

The couple's Block co-stars Dylan Adams and Jenny Heath, who got married last month, "Omggg yesss!! Congratulations lovers how exciting."

Friends and followers also shared their congratulations, with one user writing, "A huge congratulations to your family!"

"Congratulations, this is absolutely amazing," another user wrote. "I’m so happy for you and your family. Cleo is going to be the best big sister ever."

"Oh my gosh!! Congratulations to the most beautiful family ever!" a third said. "Bubs is already so loved! This is just the most heart warming news ever."

Sarah-Jane and Tom famously only made $20,000 on The Block last year, when their property sold for $4.1 million, with a reserve price of $4.08 million.

The pair was forced to sell the Ford Ranger that they won on the show, which was valued at $80,000.
