The Block tradie Jon-Jeremy Bradey dies aged 42: 'Industry icon'
The Block has shared a touching tribute to one of their much-loved tradies Jon-Jeremy Bradey who passed away on October 14 at the age of 42.
The pool expert, known as ‘Jon Jon’ to his friends, worked on the renovation series for several seasons and earned the nickname ‘Mr One Per Cent’ for his meticulous attention to detail and precision.
Fans would remember that the A Plus Enterprises employee worked on Kirsty and Josh’s property on last year’s season, and also concreted Josh and Luke’s pool.
The popular Channel Nine show paid tribute to the father of three at the end of Sunday night’s episode with a photo of him in a tuxedo alongside the caption: “In memory of Jon Jeremy Bradey, 1980-2022.”

Jon is survived by his three children Anileese, Kobe and Amelia, and his wife Candice Howman who he married just six months ago.
Candice shared a tribute to her late husband on social media earlier this week alongside a video of their big day.
“It’s our 6 months anniversary today, miss & love you forever,” she wrote on Facebook.
In a separate post, Candice shared details for Jon’s funeral which took place on Monday,
“We are completely overwhelmed with the outpouring of love, support and prayers and from the bottom of our hearts we thank you dearly,” she added.
Speaking to Herald Sun, Jon’s friend Reece Daniltchenko described him as an “industry icon”.
“Jon Jon was a devoted husband, father and friend, anything could be achieved when you had him in charge, which I had the privilege of witnessing first-hand,” he said.
“To have the opportunity to work with someone so reliable, trustworthy and a leader to his team, always gave me the confidence knowing that the end result will be delivered.”
Jon’s cause of death has not been revealed.
