The Block stars reunite for Dylan and Jenny's lavish wedding: 'Perfect pair'
Dylan and Jenny tied the knot on Friday in Queensland.
The Block 2022 contestants had a sweet reunion on Friday, with Sharon and Ankur, Rachel and Ryan and Tom and Sarah-Jane all attending Dylan and Jenny’s fairytale wedding. The contestants, who didn’t sell their house until four months post auction, described tying the knot as ‘the best day of their lives’.
The lavish wedding was held at the 5-star InterContinental Sanctuary Cove resort on Hope Island in Queensland. Sharing a carousel of snaps on Instagram, the newlyweds gushed about their “perfect” day.
“We always knew our wedding day would be the best day of our lives. We honestly had the most amazing ceremony & reception. Lots of laughs, tears, love, dancing, singing and pure joy the entire day. Couldn’t picture a more perfect day if we tried.
"I wish Instagram would let me upload all of the photos at once! Incoming wedding spam. Thank you so much to everyone involved,” the couple wrote in the caption.

The bride looked stunning in the pictures, wearing a white corset gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves. Her wedding dress boasted an extremely high thigh-split with ruched white fabric sitting on her hips.
She wore her hair down in loose waves with a delicate tiara on top, and held a bouquet of white flowers. Her look was completed by a pair of strappy stilettos and a long white veil.
Fellow The Block stars were quick to comment on their love-filled post.
“So fun, we had a ripper time, no doubt some sore heads today. Love you guys,” Tom and Sarah-Jane gushed.
“What. A. Wedding!!!!!!!!!” added Rachel and Ryan, while season eight’s Kyal and Kara sent their congratulations.
“Congratulations lovers,” wrote The Block co-host Shelley Craft.

2022 The Block contestants were reunited to celebrate Dylan and Jenny’s big day, with Sarah-Jane, Rachel and Sharon seen posing together.
Sarah-Jane wore a red maxi dress with a ruffle detail, Rachel opted for a red strapless minidress and Sharon stunned in a bright pink cut-out maxi gown.
The three Block couples were also spotted tearing up the dance floor and all dedicated sweet tributes for the happy couple.
“From the minute we met Jen and Dyls, we knew we were going to be friends for life. We met under the funniest of circumstances and connected from the very beginning, bonding through a super challenging time for all of us and coming out the other side stronger than ever,” Ankur and Sharon wrote.
This couple has to be the most genuine, in love, salt of the earth beautiful humans we’ve had the privilege to get to know and we could not think of a more perfect pair for each other — never have we cried so much at a wedding!”
Fans question Omar and Oz’s absence
However, some fans noticed that two of The Block 2022 contestants were nowhere to be seen. Omar and Oz, who won last year’s season with a record-breaking $1586,666.66 in profit as well as an additional $100,000 in prize money, were potentially snubbed by Dylan and Jenny.
“The boys from The Block are missing…on the outs??” one fan asked.
“Where’s Oz and Omar?” another wrote.
“Couldn’t the boys make it…?” a third pointed out, with another guessing “they didn’t get invited”.
“Yeah that’s what I thought, hopefully [Omar and Oz were] invited,” another remarked.
