The Bachelors' Luke and Ellie reveal truth about X-rated scene
"We got booted!"
One couple got their happy ending on The Bachelors finale last night, with former rugby league star Luke Bateman professing his love for beauty therapist Ellie Rolfe.
Ellie caught Luke's eye from the very start of the series, where the two shared a romantic dance and balcony kiss on the first night. From there, their connection only grew stronger, with Ellie securing the first overnight date for the Australian season.
While things got steamy in the shower between the pair after a body scrub date, the happy couple spoke to Yahoo Lifestyle this morning and admitted things didn't pan out between them exactly how it was filmed.
"As soon as the cameras were off, we got booted," Ellie laughed. "I got booted out into different accommodation!"
"They kind of frame it, like not giving away too much of productions secrets, but yeah, they do kind of frame it like [there was a sleepover]," Ellie continued.

"The thing is, it's a romantic show, it's not a trashy show, it's not set up to be, you know, everyone's sleeping with everybody," Luke said. "Everyone's there for love and an actual relationship so those opportunities weren't available. And even if they were available, I wouldn't have taken it up."
"You want to wait until you're exclusive," Ellie agreed. "For me anyway, I felt like it would be a thing of like, if we live here together, then we can explore that exclusively."
The couple confirmed they're moving in together early next year after they spend a few weeks in Western Australia with Ellie's family over Christmas.
And speaking of family, the couple had a laugh about the awkward family meet and greet where Luke's conversation with Ellie's dad took a weird turn after he questioned Luke's intentions with his daughter and referenced Ellie's looks, saying she was "painfully easy on the eyes".
"Me and Dad had a bit of a little bit of a fight over that the other night because I was like, 'Dad, what do you mean?' And he was like, 'Oh, they've cut out so many bits. So what I said and it's all been misconstrued," Ellie said.
"I think a lot of what was missed was just how protective Tony [Ellie's dad] was... obviously he's seen Elly experience a lot of pain and heartbreak in past relationships and he just wanted to make it very clear that she was just such a special and caring human. And that she has been taken advantage of in her in the past," Luke clarified.
