The Bachelor's Irena 'struggling to cope' with Locky's TV career

Former Bachelor star Irena Srbinovska is reportedly "struggling to cope" with boyfriend Locky Gilbert's TV career after the pair seemingly unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Insiders have shared with New Idea that it's been difficult for them to have a normal relationship.

"While they're fully aware they're no Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, working on TV and keeping a normal relationship alive is difficult," they said.

The source also claims the pair is "keeping up appearances" for the time being after denying they'd split when followers saw they'd unfollowed each other.

However, Locky took to Instagram over the weekend and shared a tribute to Irena, writing, "Two years since @irena_srbinovska blew my top on our first date together.

"After a rough trot at the moment, the one person that knows me best is still by my side. Unfortunately some people only see one side of a person in such a short time. Luckily Irena has seen every side of me and she is still here."

He finished by saying, "Love you babe."

Irena also commented on the snap, writing, "Aww this date was the best! Love you baby."

Locky spoke to Daily Mail about the split rumours, saying, "We haven't unfollowed each other at all."

He added, "Irena has just deactivated her account. We have both been getting a lot of online bullying and some very harmful DMs unfortunately."

"We thought it was best if she just took a break from social right now."

In January, Irena revealed she had returned to her hometown of Melbourne as she'd been "struggling being away" from her friends and family in Victoria.

Some thought this might have been a sign the pair had split with a source telling the Mail Irena seemed "a lot more stressed out than normal in the past few weeks".
