All we’ve had so far are teasers and promos ahead of The Bachelor premiere this Wednesday, but now a major spoiler has dropped online, undoing the efforts to keep the details of this season firmly under wraps.

A description for the second episode was accidentally leaked online via the TV Guide, and fans are gobsmacked at the reveal.

If you haven’t realised by now there, are some MAJOR spoilers ahead so don’t read on if you don’t want them.

While any Bachie fan worth their salt will know (and look forward to) an intruder or two crashing the party later in the season, this season will kick it off earlier than ever before.

According to the leaked description, the house will welcome eight girls as early as Thursday night - the show’s second episode of the season.

The description hints that the 20 girls who initially walked down the red carpet - the proper way to enter a reality mansion, ain’t happy with the twist.

It goes some way to explain the high drama that the show’s official previews have teased.

With the explosive details that have already emerged about the contestants we do know about, we can only imagine what the latecomers will bring to the table.

The lead up to the show has already weathered more than its share of drama.

The leak follows online ridicule directed at a promo eerily similar to the HBO dystopian drama The Handmaids Tale, and a contestant’s cringe-worthy response to Bachelor Matt’s profession in the earliest glimpse of the ladies made international audiences wince after it went viral.

So far the contestants have wowed excited audiences with their dramatic transformations.

There has also already been hot debates raged over the lady most likely to win Matt Agnew’s heart.
