Taylor Swift's Cinematographer Spills Intimate Details About Travis Kelce's Support

Rodrigo Prieto, who served as the cinematographer for Taylor Swift's "Fortnight," is drawing back the curtain on a small facet of the singer's relationship.

The creative spoke exclusively with People as the publication reflected on the singer's "unstoppable era" ahead of the final three shows of her record-breaking Eras Tour, offering some new insight into beau Travis Kelce's support on set.

The Oscar-nominated cinematographer, who first worked with Swift on her music video for "The Man," believes the tight end, whom he declared to be "a lovely man," was a supportive "presence" during filming.

"I would say that it seems like their parents educated them well," Prieto complimented both members of the couple. "They are not just polite, but actually interested in what others have to say."

He also said Swift was "probably also proud to show him what she does and the kind of leader she is."

"She makes her own kind of touchdowns," Prieto added.

Previously, Swift opened up about how supportive Kelce has been of her career. The "So High School" singer shared a sweet shoutout for her NFL beau during an acceptance speech at the 2024 MTV VMAs.

"Something that I’ll always remember is when I finished a take and I’d say 'cut,' and we’d be done with that take, I would always hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting it," she said of filming the music video for "Fortnight."

"That one person was my boyfriend Travis." Swift continued. "Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic. So I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that."
