Sadly, no. Despite our highest hopes that the singer would join Kendrick Lamar on the Super Bowl stage for a live version of their “Bad Blood” duet, Swift stayed in her suite. (But the halftime performance did have surprise guests.) Her absence made a really deep cut, but luckily there’s still the opportunity for more TV sightings of the Tortured Poet herself in the game’s second half.

Sadly, though the Superdome was filled with green, black and white confetti at the end of the game — snake colors, no? — we ended the night with nary a word about Swift’s rumored next re-do.
