Taylor Swift Subtly Changed Up Her Hair in Between Indianapolis Eras Tour Nights — and Fans Flipped

On night two in Indianapolis, Swift took the stage with slightly shorter bangs

Taylor Swift may have only made a subtle change to her hair in Indianapolis this weekend, but the Swifties certainly noticed!

On night two of her final U.S. tour stop on Nov. 2, Swift, 34, took the stage in her bright orange Versace bodysuit with her blonde hair left down and straight. Nothing out of the ordinary.

But then the fans noticed her bangs.

X (formerly Twitter) was flooded with Swifties posting things like, "HER BANGS OMG," or "TAYLOR SWIFT CUT HER BANGS!" with a siren emoji. Many of the posts were accompanied by a video of Swift at the top of the show when fans got the first glimpse of the Grammy-winning artist with her slightly shorter bangs.

Major Swift update accounts on X made sure to blast the news for all to hear, sharing the same video, which is nearing a million views as of this writing. Others were not convinced, however, countering the posts about the bang trim by saying they believed Swift simply "swooped" her bangs to the side. It's a fair guess for someone with curtain bangs who has been known to wear her bangs with a bit of curl to them.

The Nov. 2 show was a big night for Swift — she also had boyfriend Travis Kelce in attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium. While he watched from the audience, Swift performed a mashup of "This Love" from 1989 and "The Prophecy" from The Tortured Poets Department that had fans convinced it was just for him.

The lyrics of "The Prophecy" see Swift reminiscing about her past attempts at relationships and looking at a higher power to help her find love. In the song, she sings, "Let it once be me / Who do I have to speak to / About if they can redo / The prophecy?"

A video shared on X showed that Swift changed the lyrics of "This Love" — which is about the highs and lows of being in love — from "These hands had to let it go free / and this love came back to me" to "These hands had to let it go free / and it changed the prophecy."
