As Swift appeared on the big screen inside the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, booing from the crowd loudly took over. The “Bejeweled” singer is seen glaring at her friend Ice Spice, as seen in the video, not making it clear what the audience was reacting to.
Swift has been a staple at Chiefs games as the singer attends in support of Travis Kelce, the Kansas City tight end to whom she has been romantically linked.

Although it was unclear what the audience was booing, Serena Williams took to social media to express her support for Swift.
“I love you [Taylor Swift],” Williams shared on X. “Don’t listen to those booo!!!”

Donald Trump, who has notably said he was not keen on Swift, was also at the big game, making it the first time a sitting U.S. president had done so. Trump took to Truth Social to share a video of Swift’s reaction to the boos paired with a video of him at the Super Bowl with daughter Ivanka.
Swift was at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas last year when Kelce and the Chiefs won the Lombardi Trophy for the second consecutive year. The Chiefs want to make history in 2025, winning the trophy three years in a row. However, the Chiefs haven’t scored anything at halftime and are down 24 points against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Another change for Swift at this year’s Super Bowl is that she was not accompanied by her friend Blake Lively, who has recently been involved in a public battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
Other celebrities at the Super Bowl LIX included Pete Davidson, Miles Teller, and Kevin Costner.
